Automobile Association
The Plassey Leisure Park won three special awards by this highly acclaimed organisation - Best Campsite in Wales, and Overall Best Campsite in U.K. for 2004, and Best Campsite in Wales 2011, in a competition against over 1,000 AA inspected Parks. We are also graded as a 5 Pennant Premier Park since 2002.
Visit Wales
We are holders of the coveted 5 Star Grade Visit Wales accolade for over 14 years. The standards to keep to the highest grade are very stringent, but we are delighted to constantly improve our facilities year on year - to the delight of our returning customers "Look at what is new this year!!........"
The David Bellamy Conservation Award
This award highlights conservation and environmental management through landscaping, cultivation of flora & fauna and the creation of habitats designed to encourage a variety of wildlife. Since joining the scheme in 2002, we have been awarded Gold status every year, plus won a Special Distinction Award in 2010.

The Plassey Leisure Park are members of this a prestigious and unique group of Britain's leading privately-owned touring and holiday parks, and all members of the scheme are 5 Star Graded Quality Parks.

This premier motoring organisation in The Netherlands (the Dutch equivalent of the U.K.'s Automobile Association) awarded us the top "Recommendation" grade that is strictly limited to a small number of British parks, and have done so since 1998.

"....Having just returned from our first visit to The Plassey caravan/campsite near Wrexham, I was very impressed by what greeted us. On arrival at the reception area, we were met by a very organised lady at the desk, who informed us of the facilities open to us. The site in general was well maintained and very importantly clean - there was plenty of electrical points should you need it - with plenty of fresh water taps. The area for refuse was well signposted and were emptied on a daily basis. The washroom/WC area were very clean and inspected on a regular basis. There was plenty of entertainment for children of all ages - with an on-site Bar for the Mums and Dads. We would highly recommend this site."
