We are delighted to have won several awards from the UK's No1 selling magazine in their annual Top 100 Park Awards, most recently UK Best Family Park 2009, and overall winner UK Best Park 2007.
Automobile Association
Winner of 2 awards including Best Campsite in Wales, and Overall Best Campsite in U.K. for 2004 in a competition against over 1,500 AA inspected Parks. We are also holders of the highest grade Premier Park 5 Pennant Award from 2002 - 2010.
Wales Tourist Board
The Plassey Leisure Park is annually assessed by an independant inspector from VisitWales, and we have attained the highly repected 5 Star Quality Grade every year from 2003 - 2010.
The David Bellamy Conservation Award

The Plassey Leisure Park recently won the coveted 5 Star Grade for 2007 & 2009. We pride ourselves on providing top class facilities where the quality and cleanliness of toilets and showers are paramount.....and are therefore a joy to use!

The Plassey Leisure Park has been a full member of the BH&HPA for the last 14 years, and as such we adhere fully to the industries Code of Practice which help to maintain the highest standards for all guests who stay with us.
Best of British group
The Plassey Leisure Park became members of the Best of British Group in 2003. This is a prestigious and unique group of Britain's leading privately-owned touring and holiday parks, and all members of the scheme are 5 Star Graded Quality Parks.

This premier motoring organisation in The Netherlands (the Dutch equivalent of the U.K.'s Automobile Association) awarded us the top "Recommendation" grade that is strictly limited to a small number of British parks, and have done so since 1998.

"....Having just returned from our first visit to The Plassey caravan/campsite near Wrexham, I was very impressed by what greeted us. On arrival at the reception area, we were met by a very organised lady at the desk, who informed us of the facilities open to us. The site in general was well maintained and very importantly clean - there was plenty of electrical points should you need it - with plenty of fresh water taps. The area for refuse was well signposted and were emptied on a daily basis. The washroom/WC area were very clean and inspected on a regular basis. There was plenty of entertainment for children of all ages - with an on-site Bar for the Mums and Dads. We would highly recommend this site."
