Our main concern, as one of the leading touring caravan sites in North Wales, is to do everything we can to make our customers happy. Holidays in North Wales are getting more and more popular and we strive to go above and beyond to make sure that people who choose to spend their holidays with us have a fantastic stay and return to us. To do this, we are constantly reviewing and updating our site facilities.
We have noticed in the past few years, that we are getting more and more people coming to us to enjoy golf breaks and spend some time on our nine holes (4961-yard par 66) golf course. The beauty of our golf course cannot be denied, as it is set within the same 250 acres of stunning yet tranquil parkland near Wrexham that the rest of our facilities are. With its mature setting, superb landscaping and variety of water features, originally designed by Ian Woosnam professional Coach Keith Williams, it will definitely test the golfing skills of players of all levels.
As our golf course is part of our holiday park, we firmly believe that it should be a relaxing experience as well as a competitive one. With that in mind, we have recently made some small changes to our Golf Clubhouse – The Haybank Clubhouse & Grill. Creating a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere in the Haybank Clubhouse & Grill is something we work hard at and to contribute to building this, we have just created a new Sunday Roast menu – which will launch on the 31st July. After all, what better way is there to bond with your family, than over a fantastic plate of food washed down with a fine ale or a glass of carefully selected wine?
Eating together as a family has many benefits, not least the connections and bonding experience you create by sharing news and information about your day together. Time spent together like this can be a unifying experience for everyone involved, fostering feelings of security and warmth in your children and helping them to feel a sense of belonging. It is also a perfect way to help children learn social skills and table manners in a light and relaxed atmosphere, where you can lead them by example.
It is also a great way to introduce your children to different foods alongside their own favourites – especially as we have done a lot of work on our menus recently. This year, for example, we have added an amazing Inka Charcoal BBQ Grill and authentic pizza oven to the Clubhouse, meaning we can cook up some nutritious family favourites from scratch. As with all of our other food outlets on site, we source as many ingredients as we can locally so that we can be sure to offer you five-star tasting home-cooked food that the whole family will love. We have also just added a ‘Specials Board’ so that we can take advantage of the local ingredients and offer you something different on a daily basis.
