2019 David Bellamy Conservation Award

We take our award-winning park status very seriously at Plassey and these last few months have been no exception.

Back in October, the park was declared a winner of the prestigious 2019 David Bellamy Conservation Award at its top Gold level. This year’s award also now marks a decade of recognition from the award scheme. We also received extra commendations for being awarded a Honey Bee Friendly Park and this year’s new 5 in 5 Woodlands Habitat Badge.

And we haven’t stopped there, this month we had the fantastic news that we have been shortlisted for Go North Wales Tourism Awards 2019, in the Go Caravan, Camping, and Glamping Category.

Now in its fourth year, the Go North Wales Tourism Awards who are proudly sponsored by Wales Cottages and Heart North Wales, celebrate and recognise excellence in the region’s hospitality and tourism sectors. The category recognises excellence in caravan or holiday parks that offer cabin and tenting accommodation and enhance the visitor experience.

We are thrilled to be a finalist and we are on the countdown to the awards evening which is taking place in just a few day’s time at Venue Cymru in Llandudno. Keep your fingers crossed for us! May the best business win!
